Sony supplies the software of “Visual and Voice Editor Version 1.2.01 Upgrade program”, which can upgrade from Version1.0/1.1.

By installing this program, following functions will be added.
Prior to downloading this software, please read the following instructions to make certain you are comfortable with the process.

This program is only applicable with following.
Visual and Voice Editor Version 1.0/1.1.

Following functions are added in the Visual and Voice Editor.

Converting a message into a Macromedia Flash (SWF) file becomes possible.

You can convert a PC message to a Macromedia Flash (SWF) file by specifying its image size, sound quality, destination, effect (fade in/slide in).

A converted Flash (SWF) file can be played back with the Flash Player Ver.6 or later, or an Internet browser with the plug-in software for the Flash Player Ver.6 or later installed.

JPEG files other than those shots with a Visual IC recorder are supported.

In previous versions of the Visual and Voice Editor, you can use an image shot with a Visual IC recorder only for a title picture or a bookmark.

Registering a JPEG file except for that shot with a Visual IC recorders a title picture or bookmark can also be possible.

Several misoperations of the software have been fixed.

Please check “read me” about the past Improvements.

Please follow the steps below to download the file.

	Create the folder named "VVE_Up" in the C drive.
	Download the following file into the folder that was created in Step 1. VVE1.2.01eUpgrade.EXE (14,783KB)
	Upon completion of the download, please check the size of the file as follows;Choose [View] - [Details] in [Windows Explorer]

If the file size is same, the download has been completed successfully. Otherwise, please delete all the downloaded files and perform the download again.

It is highly recommended to copy the downloaded files for backup.

When the download is completed, please upgrade the program on Windows using the following steps.

	Close all the software that is currently opened.
	Go to [Start] and select [Run].
	At the "Run" box, type "C:\VVE_Up\VVE1.2.01eUpgrade.EXE" and click "OK" to begin the installation. (In this case, the program file "VVE1.2.01eUpgrade.EXE" was downloaded to the folder "C:\VVE_Up")
	When the following message appears, click "Finish"."Visual and Voice Editor has been successfully installed."Now all the work for upgrading has completed. Please restart your computer.

Check whether the upgrade is completed successfully in either of those ways;

Open the file “\Program Files\Sony\ Visual and Voice Editor \Readme.txt”.
If “Improvements (Version 1.2.01)” is mentioned in the text, the upgrade has been completed successfully.

Or, open “Visual and Voice Editor” and select [About Visual and Voice Editor] from the [Help] menu.If“Visual and Voice Editor Version1.2.01.01120”is displayed on the [About Visual and Voice Editor] dialog box, your upgrade is completed successfully.

Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, SONY may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms of this EULA. COPYRIGHT You agree to comply with all applicable copyright protection laws in connection with your use of the Sony Portable Device and SONY SOFTWARE. In addition to the terms provided in this EULA, Sony Corporation and/or its affiliates may take appropriate measures to protect copyright of the contents played by the SONY SOFTWARE. Sony Corporation reserves the right to amend this EULA at its sole discretion by indicating the amendment at the SONY Site or taking other appropriate measures. If you do not agree to the terms to be amended, which shall be notified to you by SONY before they take effect, you must return the SONY SOFTWARE with your SONY Portable Device and any other materials bundled in the package at the time of the purchase, together with any software you obtained from Sony Site for a pro-rated. Your continued use of the SONY SOFTWARE after notice shall be deemed agreement to be bound by such EULA amendment. SEVERABILITY If any part of this EULA is held invalid or unenforceable, the other parts will remain valid.
