Closing notice of Sony headphones helpline and free replacement service
Sony would like to inform that as of July 23, 2010, Sony ceased the free replacement service via headphone helpline, which had been announced on June 25, 2009, through Sony website.

After that, we will accept repair service request as per Sony repair service policy. For further information, please refer to [Contact Information] described below.

We have noticed the temporary stop of sales of the World model of Sony Digital Noise Cancelling Headphone gMDR-NC600D(JE) h, as gInformationhon June 25th, 2009, on Sony Overseas Models web site.
We have been taken countermeasures against the symptom attributed to acoustic feedback in a specific mode in certain environments and conditions, so we would like to announce that we have organized preparation for re-launching the NC600D. We have also prepared for free product exchange those affected models with improved products.
Also, as for the serial numbers of the affected models, please refer to [Product name and serial numbers] on the gInformationh on June 25th, 2009.

From July 24th, 2009, we will start accepting exchange the affected models free of charge with improved products.
Accordingly, please contact to the Sony headphones call center during the period mentioned below, if you have the models.

From the beginning of August 2009, the improved products will be sent to the customers.
Additional contact is not necessary if the customers have already requested to our call center to exchange on this matter.

Also, the model will be re-launched with the improved one, from the beginning of August 2009.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this matter.
