Sony will continue to support the product, in accordance with our rules and regulations for repair, from December 1st, 2013 onward.

For Walkman “NW-S703F/S705F/S706F,” some of units may have symptoms, “Walkman does not make sound or sound skips,” due to an internal wire breaking of the unit depend on its usage.

For the Walkman which has the above symptoms due to the wire breaking, Sony will repair it without charge even it is out of warranty period.

The symptoms such as “Walkman does not make sound or sound skips” may occur due to the internal wire breaking depend on the usage of the Walkman.

<Countermeasure>

For the customer who uses the Walkman which has the above symptoms, please consult your nearest Sony dealer or SonyServiceCenter. In the case that above symptoms occur due to the wire breaking, Sony will repair it without charge even it is out of warranty period. If you have any questions, please contact the following.
