| A12: | VOR (Voice Operated Recording) is the function that starts recording automatically when the recorder detects sound.The recording pauses when no sound is detected. |

 |  | I can not record successfully with the VOR function.
| A13: | VOR recording does not start by only setting VOR function. Push the REC/REC PAUSE button for starting. VOR function is affected by the sound around you. Set the SENS according to the recording condition. If recording is not satisfactory after you have changed the microphone sensitivity, or for important recording, set the VOR to OFF. |

| A15: | DPC stands for Digital Pitch Control, which is able to control playback speed without any change of pitch. Playback speed can be adjusted between -50% to +100%. This function is useful when it is hard to catch a word.
Note: When the DPC switch is set to ON, a sound quality changes and playback becomes monaural. When the DPC switch is set to ON, an MP3 file may be played back at a lower speed than the one you set in the DPC menu. |
