 |  | Can the built-in flash memory be formatted with the player?
| A7: | Yes, you can format the built-in flash memory of the player. The below is showing how to format the memory. * If the memory is formatted, all music, video and photo data, etc., will be deleted. Be sure to verify the data stored in memory prior to formatting.
1. Press and hold the BACK/HOME button in the pause mode until the Home menu appear. 2. Select "Settings", "Common Settings" and "Format" sequentially by pressing UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT buttons and the play/pause button . "Format" screen appears. 3. By pressing UP/DOWN buttons, select "Yes" - "Yes", and press the play/pause button . The formatting starts and animation is shown during the formatting. When the formatting finishes "Memory formatted." appears.
Note: - Do not format the built-in flash memory using Windows Explorer. - After the formatting, all of the data/music information are deleted, and cannot be recovered. - If music data are deleted by formatting, SonicStage CP recognizes them as music data to be transferred back to the computer when the player is connected to the computer that the music data were transferred from. Therefore, the remaining Check-out count is increased automatically. |
