Press and hold the OPTION/PWR OFF button. The screen turns off and the player enters the standby mode. Furthermore, the player turns off if left for about a day in the stand-by mode.
* If there was no operation attempted for more that 3 minutes while the player was in the pause mode, the screen turns off and the player enters the standby mode. |

* If the memory is formatted, all files are deleted. After the formatting, you cannot recover the data. |

|  |  |  | How can I transfer songs to the player from my computer?
| A6: | By using software which can transfer data (such as Windows Media Player 11, Media Manager etc.) or Windows Explorer you can transfer.
If you transfer by using Windows Explorer, follow the below instructions. 1. Connect the player to the USB port of your computer. 2. Select [WALKMAN] - [Storage Media] or [Media] * - [MUSIC] folder from Windows Explorer. 3. Copy the files you want transfer to the [MUSIC] folder.
* If you installed Windows Media Player 10, select [Media] folder.
Note: - While the software is transferring data, do not disconnect the player. - You can drag and drop AAC and video files in Windows Explorer to the player. In this case, you need to install Windows Media Player 11. Install it from the supplied CD-ROM. - You cannot transfer the ATRAC audio data. Convert the ATRAC audio data to the MP3 format using the supplied MP3 Conversion Tool. (Copyright protected ATRAC audio data cannot be converted.) - By using SonicStage (a music controller software provided by Sony), you cannot transfer data. - The player cannot play songs beyond the 8th folder level. |

| A7: | No, you cannot enter with the player.
Regarding titles, edit the ID3 tag information or the file names with your computer, and then transfer to the player. |
|  |  |  | Can I edit the video/picture title with the player?
| A8: | No, you cannot edit with the player. File names (excluding the extensions) are displayed as the titles. Edit the file names using Windows Explorer. |
|  |  |  | Can I delete videos or pictures with the player?
| A9: | You can delete videos on the player. Perform the following steps.
1. Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu appears.
2. Press the button to select (Video Library), and then press the button to confirm.
3. Press the button to select a video, and then press the OPTION/PWR OFF button.
The option menu appears.
4. Press the button to select [Delete Video], and then press the button to confirm.
The comfirm of deletion message appears.
5. Press the button to select [Yes], and then press the button to confirm.
The selected video will be deleted and the message "Deleted" appears.
[Note]
You can not revive the deleted videos on the player. Confirm the content before the deletion.
