We provide the SonicStage upgrade program service to the latest Version “3.1” for free of charge.Please read carefully the following instructions

In SonicStage Ver.3.0 or later, tracks stored in albums in My Library are automatically sorted,based on the artist name and album name* registered to each track. Because of this revision, if you have been using an earlier version of SonicStage (Ver. 2.3 or earlier), the structure of the albums stored in My Library may change when upgrading to SonicStage Ver. 3.1. For example, if the album name* registered to a track with SonicStage Ver. 2.3 or earlier was "No title," it may be sorted into a new album for all tracks with an album name of "No title." |

The default setting of CD Recording Format is ATRAC3plus 64kbps. |

When upgrading from SonicStage or OpenMG Jukebox, it will be overwritten. |

When upgrading from SonicStage Simple Burner, it will be installed additionally. |

The functions of EQ(Equalizer), Effect(Vocal Canceller), Visualizer ,recording by WMA , an audio CD direct ripping to connected portable devices with computer ,CD back up function, Recording from CD by OpenMG Audio(PCM) file format and analyzer display (level meter , spectrum , waveform )are eliminated. |

Function of create an MP3 CD is only available from MP3 files in My Library. SonicStage is not able to convert OpenMG Audio files (e.g. ATRAC3plus) to MP3 files and to create an MP3 CD. |

In this upgrade service, the program which has the language fit to your OS language will be installed.
(Only for English, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese) |

Track information such as music title, artist name, genre, album title on copy protected discs being released by Sony Music Entertainment Inc. what is copied into computer is not allowed to edit. |

[Solved issues] |

Some numeric characters may have appeared at the beginning of track titles for songs transferred in WAV(PCM) format from SonicStage Ver.3.0 to Hi-MD devices. |
- |
SonicStage Ver.3.0 may have shut down when attempting to transfer albums or tracks larger in capacity than the available space on the Hi-MD Disc. |

Before downloading <SonicStage Ver.3.1Upgrade Program> |

Download “SonicStageInstaller” first. |
|
After executing “SonicStageInstaller”, only the files needed for your computer will be downloaded and then SonicStage Ver.3.1 will be installed. (When executing “SonicStageInstaller, Internet connection will be needed.) |
|
|
This is an upgrade program, therefore the installed file will differ depending on your PC environment. (The installed file size: approx. 26~74MB) |
|
The installation time is 4~10 minutes approx. when corresponding by 1Mbps. It is 1 and a half hour~3 hours approx. by 56kbps. It will take quite a bit of time depending on the Internet environment. |

Transfer back(check in) the tracks which are transferred(check out) to device/media before executing<SonicStage Ver.3.1 Upgrade Program>. |

If you were using SonicStage, we recommend that you back up using<SonicStage Backup Tool> before executing<SonicStage Ver.3.1 Upgrade Program>. |
